If you follow this list and properly prepare your recycled products for collection we can eliminate these items from the waste stream and increase our recycling rates.  The Borough gets funding, through a 904 Performance Grant, from the State of Pennsylvania for every ton of recycled products collected by our trash hauler and private haulers.  We can include materials     collected at commercial buildings with in the Borough.  Your efforts to increase the Borough recycling rate helps us to receive funding to make improvements within the Borough.  If you do not have a recycling container stop by the Borough Office.  If you container is damaged bring it in and we will replace it at no charge.  If you need a second container to hold all of your recycling, we sell containers for a fee of $5.00 each.  If you use a trash receptacle instead of a green bin to place your recycling at the curb, please make sure it is clearly marked recycling, so that it does not get picked up by the refuse truck.

Cardboard dumpster - immediate success

Continue to use our Cardboard Dumpster!!!

Every ton of recyclables that is collected at curbside, from businesses and in this container helps to increase the funding that the Borough receives from the Department of Environmental Protection.
